hi welcome back to the monthly photo dump. except Im making this a big summer salad of pictures - my plan Is to update after every month but who knows If Ill do that! Whatever, there are no rules. the point Is just to replace my desire for Instant gratification! This Is my life In pix - the summer I turned 29!
June
a pretty sweet month! Rachel and I started playing pickleball after work, and by that I mean we sit on the tennis court and catch up on our weeks. I spent afternoons on the beach and evenings on my porch! I rode my bike! And turned 29 In Milwaukee during a work trip but made It back In time to grab a martini with friends :) Also did a birthday camping trip in Muskegon Co. with the best friends a girl could ask for! & Randi got a new kitten; meet Suzie!

What a fricken month! Didn't take enough photos to show how good this one was! Did the radio, Liv turned 28! & I made 10 pounds of beef for the taco bar @ our staff meeting. Ang came to visit & It was refreshing but also reminded me how much I miss my best friend! I worked a camera & digitized my grandparent's old super8 film & voted early & took pictures of cats that I love (Chandler & Musty). And my favorite moment of the month was going to Columbus with Randi to see Audrey Hobert & gave my number to a cute boy at a Columbus bar bc I liked his moves on the dancefloor <333
August
Ending the summer In the UP!! Spent a lot of good one on one time with gramma, sunbathing on the dock, painting on the porch, watching home videos, mowing the lawn, eating pasties and biking around :) I love having a second home In one of the most beautiful places In the country. Took the long way home and stopped at Pictured Rocks & Tahquamenon Falls - had to pick up a paper map because I lost service for hours and took an unpaved route through Luce County. Then as soon as I got back to the LP I went to Ann Arbor for a first date with Ohio Man !!!!!! Then a couple weeks later he came to visit me In GR!!! I dunno If I can even summarize that weekend just know my heart Is swollen! I also led trivia for the first time & had a great fundraiser for the rapidian & then went to Chicago to learn more about fundraising for local journalism <33 can't wait to update you all on this fall bc Im writing this now In september and life Is only getting sweeter!!!!
