why are we here?

im not sure why youre here but i am here because i dont know where else to be, i guess. well thats not totally true -- there are so many places on the internet to be all the time and none of them are fun anymore. and the rules keep changing and I don't know how to perform - what we post, how often we post, who we post for, and why, and it needs to be nonchalant but also authentic. i can not brand myself so that my friends think im cool in the metaverse anymore. and its the endless scroll and the self esteem of it all and the algorithm curating everything i see and im tired of feeling like I have to sell my attention to corporations in order to stay connected to friends and to share my life online.
