Hiiiiii. I deactivated my Instagram last month and Im not trying to be annoying about It but unfortunately I am being annoying about It anyway because I feel like Ive seen the light!!! It turns out I didnt actually care to know what acquaintances were up to and I can actually just text my friends and ask them what they're up to and they'll usually just tell me. but Its not like I havent been taking pics so Im gonna put them here.
and Im gonna do a little photo diary of the year because In 2026 I stopped posting (except for stories) and I archived all my posts on my profile so I just havent had a realll place to exist on the web other than here and I have been too scared to use this website that I built for this exact reason and quite literally zero people ever visit. I got the website traffic stats - I am the only one here. so whatever Im getting over It and sharing my life to my little audience of me.
& without further ado, I present to you the last 153 days.
January
Started the year off @ Rowster with a book & a cortado. Not my best month but geez In the dead of winter what can you expect I dunno. I read, I cuddled chandler, I radio'd, painted & rode the bull at Twisted Bull! Yeehaw! year of the horse or whatever
February
Visited Lizzie & Uriel In Austin for a week - Lizzie Is one of my favorite friendships because It feels so easy to be around her, she Is direct and funny and reflective. So a whole week with her and Uriel In her town was really nice - plus the food was great & I got a new little tattoo & I got to bet on a chicken shitting while drinking a beer! Yeehaw! Came back home & rode my bike a little because my car was dying on me & also global warming. then I got my subaruuuuuu! Which I am still so over the moon about. Its my first super reliable car and I love her. & then I did some camera work at the Jammies & danced at the yellow party <3 good month
March
Chandler became a public access tv star!!!!! He came to work with me for GRTV's Free Speech Day special broadcast and I got to just show and tell him for 15 minutes. I have such a fun job and I love public access TV <3 My social battery started to warm up a tiny bit In March but It wasn't great so a long weekend secluded In Watersmeet with my grandparents was a welcome change of pace. first roadtrip in the new whip, knocked my heat shield loose on a dirt road trying to find a thrift store In the middle of no where that was of course closed! made crackers with grandma and sorted through blind bags of vintage jewelry from the thrift with her and Grandpa finished his puzzle just In time before I left and I saw twoooo eagles on the side of the road and we watched grandpa's old hunting tapes i digitized and grandpa gave me his dad's accordion which I wanna learn how to play but Its a hard Instrument to practice when you live In an apartment.
April
Biking & walking mostly! My uncle came to visit and we had a nice dinner at Gin Gin's and the flowers all started to do their thing. I tried shorts and boots for the first time - I think I liked It but I am having a hard time knowing for sure. Second roadtrip! I went to Milwaukee to see MJ Lenderman & Waxahatchee & had an NPC sidequest kind of an evening!. First time car camping In the new whip at Kettle Moraine State Park!!
May
oooooh so In May I started having something to say!! Behind & In front of the camera at work - just trying my best! Planted things In my sisters yard. & found a tree that looks like the way I wanna be loved. spent hours on hours on hours at the library researching Arthur S. White, a GR journalist from 1860s-1920s who was the first person to live In the house I live In. I may or may not be hyperfixating but he and I are bonded at the soul somehow and he Is so endlessly Interesting to me. anyway. I was fitted up all month because May asks you to be cute. I stared at my cat. and I went to a baseball game! go whitecaps! the girls and I had an npc night of our own at Back40 after a cocktail or two and an unfair failed attempt at a touch tunes takeover........... got back on my bike, stayed on track with my 20 books In 2026 goal, drank cortados and ate hotdogs. But the highlight of It all was getting to officiate my friends', The Tarrs !!, wedding! It was the most beautiful day on the river and Megan was a beautiful bride and they're wonderful people and I am so excited for them. and I had an awesome hang with hannah and rachel and got to meet Megan's lifetime best friends and they were wonderful. It was truly a joy from start to finish. soooo anyway - to June!!
June 1 & 2
Rachel & I tried pickleball and I ate a watermelon and this was Chandler trying to show the roomba he wasnt scared. keep the stunna shades on my dudes xx see you at the end of june or maybe another different time In the future. Its so unclear, the future, despite It being bound to happen. but we know its coming, even from miles away, when we see the billowing cloud of dust and feel the rumbling vibrating under our feet - coming fast like a pack of wild horses,, the future! yee haw! thats how I feel sometimes and not all the time.
